More Information

We have many reasons to be thankful for the Darjeeling area at the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, but mainly for the astounding amount of delightful teas which are grown there.

This broken leaf Orange pekoe gives a vivid infusion which is best enjoyed in the afternoon but the chances are you'll be wanting to drink this morning, noon and night! And who could blame you?

Broken orange pekoe has a distinctive light, golden and fragrant flavour, and is regularly used as a relaxation tool. It's soothing aroma instantly leaves you feeling calm and more at ease, and as the tea doesn't cloud at cold temperatures, it is more than suitable to be consumed as iced tea in the summer months.

The benefit of buying broken leaves are predominantly for those who enjoy their Darjeeling with milk, as the increased surface area of the leaves makes for a stronger brew. If you wish to avoid milk ensure to brew your orange pekoe leaves more lightly.
