Description
|
A high grown mild coffee, has a lovely mellow taste with slight acidity, much admired by connoisseurs.
This particular 'elephant' bean, selected for its size, is sometimes considered to be smoother and richer in flavour than the standard arabica beans.
The name comes from the town of Maragogipe which is near Bahia, Brazil where these exceptionally large beans were first found, Coffea Indigena.
Maragogype is found in most producing countries, but Guatemalan is considered of superior quality, especially when roasted to a full roast colour

Excellent, mellow and aromatic all-day coffee. Very drinkable.
