An entirely different style of coffee from the Yirgacheffe, it is dry processed which gives it a heavy earthy quality, with a rich and winy aftertaste.

A washed Yirgacheffe from the ‘home of coffee growing’ or so it is argued. This coffee grows in tropical garden in jungle conditions with shade giving trees. We have chosen this coffee from the Oromia (famous from the film “Black Gold”) district, for its fine floral taste and wonderful aroma.
The benefits of Fairtrade to the farmers have been considerable. They have 4 schools and 4 health centres in the coops. They have their own bank, they have 3 sites for eco tourism with state of the art washing and pulping stations.
