Originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) with a crisp, bright and full-bodied flavour, this large leafed tea is ideal for that late afternoon pick-me-up. Grown high in the mountains, this Orange Pekoe gives a pungent taste if given a solid brew, and also makes an excellent iced tea for those hot summer months.
The ideal brewing time for our Orange Pekoe is around 3-4 minutes, using water heated to around 70 celcius. For the best and purest taste, serve without milk, although milk can be added if you allow to brew for longer.
Known for its golden colour, high grown Ceylon tea is full flavoured with a delicate fragrance. The basis for traditional English Breakfast Tea, it is an excellent blending tea and can be drunk all day with lemon or milk. Ideal also for making iced tea in the summer due to not going cloudy when cold.
Full bodied with a refreshing after taste, this blend of Russian Caravan and black Chinese tea is ideal for an afternoon spent relaxing.
